A B C D E F G H I J Job Shop: A manufacturing facility working on a job production basis, usually making specialized or expensive items in small quantities for numerous clients and/or projects. A job shop may operate as an independent company or as part of a larger entity, such as a factory. Job shops usually maintain a diverse array of manufacturing equipment, allowing them to produce a wide variety of products. A machine shop represents one form of a job shop.
