Harrison Industrial Services Inc. performs manufacturing consulting.
Shown here is a special mold and sample substrate designed to meet the needs of an international material development / manufacturing company.
This assembly allowed the customer's in house laboratory to mold a highly precise "plastic" structure to the concave side of the curved substrate for the "standardized testing" of a modified plastic that they produce.
The substrate was machined from "normalized" solid bar rather than by forming in order to get the required precision (thickness and curvature).
