Harrison Industrial Services Inc. is often called upon to design and build specialized machine tools for contractors working at local power plants.
The device pictured is a manual drilling machine for drilling a radial pattern of holes in the inner bore of a large turbine case.
The holes to be drilled were to be normal to the bore of the case.
The machine locates on the split line of the case, with the centerline of the spindle (chuck) on the centerline of the turbine rotor.
